Dr Douglas Aquilina
Douglas Aquilina is a founding partner of Attard Montalto & Aquilina Advocates.
Douglas obtained his Doctor of Laws degree in 2014, with dissertation titled “Duration of proceedings before the first hall and appeals therefrom: can anything be done?”.
In 2016, Douglas obtained a Masters in Public Procurement Law and Policy from the University of Nottingham. His dissertation was published in the Public Procurement Law Review in 2016 with the title “The Valuation of Contracts for the Purposes of the EU Public Contracts Directive”.
Douglas was called to the bar in 2015, and has been in private practice since. In 2018, he partnered with Dr Mark Attard Montalto and in 2020 they together launched Attard Montalto & Aquilina Advocates.
He assists clients in matters ranging from property law and rent laws, public procurement law, expropriations, succession (inheritance) law, commercial and civil agreements and advice, condominium law, company law, data protection, amongst others.
